Mr.  Matthew Jacobs

Mr. Matthew J. Jacobs aged 88 passed away Friday, January 31, 2014. Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Jean; their children, Terry (Nancy) Jacobs, Matthew Jacobs and Jill (Ed) Quint; grandchildren, Aaron (Chrissie) Jacobs, Megan (Mark) Remenap, Chris Vlietstra, Phillip (Allie) Vlietstra, Nick (Liz) Vlietstra, Max Quint and Jessica Quint; great grandchildren, Lauren, Cole, Mackenzie, Tieran, Rafe, Gwen and Alan; sister, Maxine Keizer. Also surviving are several special nieces and nephews and many very close friends. Matthew was proud to have served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was a life member of the American Legion. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at Ronan-Vanderpool Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., Wyoming. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the funeral home.
