Mr.  Mark Doren

DOREN- Mark N. Doren, age 72, of Sparta went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Marlyn Hunt and brother in law, Carl Vander Zee. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marilyn; their children, Brian (Melinda) Doren, Brenda (Robert) Taylor, Beth ( Rob) Chadwick, Bobbi Jo (Todd) Kent, Tim Parris & Jim (Stacy) Parris; grandchildren, Brecken Doren, McKenzie Doren, Madison Doren, Brody Doren, Vanessa Houghton, Alexis (Fernando) Tovar, Whitney Houghton, Tatum Houghton, Wesley Chadwick, Sarah Chadwick, Racheal Chadwick, Ashtin Kent, Emily Kent, Katelyn Parris, Nicholas Parris, Alex Parris; great grandchildren, Ondre, Tatyana, Savannah, Aidan, Natalie, Priscilla, Noah, Penelope. Also surviving are his parents, Mark and June Doren; brother, Dennis Doren; sisters, Sharon (Lavern) Schut & Debbie Ergang; brothers and sisters in law, Jim (Rose) Hunt, James (Cherry) Vander Zee, Pat Vander Zee. Mark was the former owner and operator of Markson Tool & Manufacturing in Sparta where he was also in the Sparta Rotary. Mark was an active member of the Harvest Bible Baptist Church of Conklin and Gospel Baptist Church of Bonita Springs, Florida where many friends and family reside. Mark served his country in the Army National Guard. The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-5 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont and on Monday from 10-11 AM at Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, 233 S. Main St., Cedar Springs.
