Mr.  James Robertson

ROBERTSON- James Miller Robertson age 75, passed away Monday , January 26, 2015. James was preceded in death by his parents, James & Esther (Miller) Robertson. Left to cherish his memory is his high school sweet heart & wife of 56 years , Joanne and their children, James Robertson and Julie Robertson; their grandchildren, Abbie (Matt) VanderBerg, Matthew Spicuzza and Hillary Spicuzza. Also surviving are his brother, Stanford (Joanne) Robertson; sisters, Linda (Bill) Schultz and Karen (Michael) Schott; sisters in-law, Gerry (Larry Smith) Hornburg and Pat Frede and close nephew, Eric Schott. James was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from General Motors in 1999 after 21 years of service. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Interment will be in Blythefield Memory Gardens.
