Mr.  James Brotherton

Mr. James E. Brotherton, aged 88, passed away January 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae; daughter, Karen; infant daughter and great granddaughter, Courtney. Surviving are his children, James (Cheryl) Brotherton Jr., Joyce (James) Massey; grandchildren, James III, Michael (Tammey) Brotherton, David (Angela) Bigelow, Christy Bigelow, Rebecca (Paul) Coulson, Jennifer Massey, James (Thersa) Massey, Jr.; great grandchildren, James IV, Mitchel, Seth, Robert, Alex, Michael, Kevin, Amber, Tyler, Hunter, Isaac, Patience, Cammie, Sandra, Alex; brother, Ralph (Carol) Brotherton; sister-in-law, Barbara Brotherton and several nieces and nephews. James proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
