Mr.  Gerrit TePastte

TEPASTTE - Mr. Gerrit TePastte, aged 96, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; brothers, Robert, Louie; sisters, Henrietta Belknap and Priscilla Johns. Gerrit is survived by his sister, Geraldine Brown; children, Steven (Paula) TePastte, Jeffrey (Elle) TePastte, Joel (Rose Marie) TePastte,; daughter-in-law, Ann TePastte; grandchildren, Gary (Sara) TePastte, Jennifer (Doug) Laninga, Kelly (Rob) Fischer, Eric TePastte, Heather TePastte, Erin TePastte; 4 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Gerrit served in the US Army during WWII. Along with being a lifelong Tiger's fan, he also enjoyed camera clubs and was an avid artist and photographer. He was the owner and designer of Key Decorating. Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, November 21, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
