Mr.  Gerard Hoogenslag

HOOGENSLAG - Mr. Gerard (Rod) Hoogenslag, age 84 of Wyoming, MI and Lake City, MI passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at home surrounded by family. He is survived by his daughter, Robyn Niles (Hoogenslag); granddaughters, Kristin Klein and Sarah Niles; two nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia; father; mother; brother; three sisters and in-laws. Gerard spent time in Korea during the Korean Conflict and is a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post 300. He was long time owner and operator of A to Z Radiator Shop in Grand Rapids, MI. He enjoyed watching police shows on TV, spending time with his family, and spending summers at his cottage in Lake City, MI. Cremation has taken place per his wishes.
