Mr.  Donald Lamoreaux

Donald Lamoreaux, age 71, of Comstock Park passed away Friday, November 21, 2104. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Maxeene Lamoreaux; his brother, Jim Lamoreaux; brother in laws, Russ Miller and Clark Hammer and his friend, Floyd Brewer. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Lynne and their sons, Jeff (Tiffany) Lamoreaux, Marc (Melissa) Lamoreaux, Josh (Amber) Lamoreaux and Sean (Carrie) Lamoreaux; grandchildren, Heather, Alyssa, Jacob, Erynn, Max, Sam, Ava, Anya, Phoenix, Orion, Mikayla and Edie. Also surviving are his sisters, Lavonne Miller, Valeta Snyder and Sheryl Hammer; sister in law, Sue Lamoreaux and special friends, Mary Brewer and Al & Vicki Cordes. Don was a good husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed camping, puttering with lawn mowers and socializing. He retired from General Motors after 34 years of service and was a member of the SAL Post #47 where he enjoyed singing karaoke. The family will greet relatives and friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., Belmont. Private family services will be held.
