VANDEWEG- David B. Van De Weg, age 71, of Grand Haven passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice in Muskegon. David was preceded in death by his parents, Gerrit and Rosie Van De Weg; his son, Brian Van De Weg and his brothers, John and Tom Van De Weg. David is survived by his wife, Dephane; his children, Bruce Van De Weg and Kelli Gleason; step daughters,Darcy Obashaw, Delsa Obashaw, Deborah Bennett, Denise Obashaw, Dawn Obashaw, Deanna Pennington; grandchildren, Riley Van De Weg and Hayley Gleason; his siblings, Rose Lutz, Harvey Van De Weg,and Laverne Van De Weg, David was a big fan of watching the Detroit Tigers and Lions play; he also enjoyed scrapping copper, trapping, fishing and hunting. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at New Apostolic Church, 400 Grant St., Grand Haven. Fellowship will be held at 3:00 pm at church.
