Mr. Dale J. Laninga aged 76 passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014. Surviving are his children, Daryl (Jane) Laninga, Denise (David) Bennett; grandchildren, Brandon, Miranda and Kristina; brothers, Gordon, Jerry (Sandy) Laninga; several nieces and nephews. Dale was an avid golfer and a dedicated Michigan fan...GO BLUE! He also loved keeping up on current events. Dale proudly served in the US Army. A memorial service will be held 1:00PM Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, 3000 Monroe NE, with visitation one hour prior.
