Mr.  Clifford Denton

DENTON - Mr. Clifford E. Denton aged 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elsie. Surviving are his wife 67 years, Betty; sons, Dennis, Daniel (Elizabeth), John (Elaine), Ray (Cynthia), Christopher Denton; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; special nephew, George J. (Peggy) Denton; sister-in-law, Betty Alters; many nieces, nephews and friends. Cliff was a WWII Veteran, proudly serving in the European Theater with the 138 Battalion as a Combat Engineer. He retired from Waltz-Holst, previously worked for 25 years at Granco Inc, and was a 44 year member of the Sheet Metal Workers #410. A Memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
