Monique Gabrielle Wilks

Monique Gabrielle Wilks passed away unexpectedly the morning of February 15, 2020.

Mo was born August 22, 1997 to Allen and Karen Wilks.

She worked for HWC (Home Works Corporation) for the last 4 years and climbed the ladder quickly to reach her current position of purchasing/scheduling coordinator. Mo loved her job!

Monique was full of life and home to a spirit for adventure. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her father, from an early age and never turned down a chance to go up north. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. There was not a soul she could not reach with her vivacious personality and welcoming demeanor. The light she brought to a room will be sorely missed.

Mo is survived by her daughter – Adeline Wilks, her parents – Allen and Karen Wilks, her sisters – Alexis Wilks/Sara Varela/Bethany Wilks, her brother – Jacob Anderson. Grandmothers – Julie Minzey, Ganelda Pant. Aunts and Uncles – James Wilks, Timothy Wilks, Scott and Kathy Wilks, Bridgette and Randy Sigler, Kelly and Jim Busch, Janet Wilks, Betty and Brent Temple, Vonda Prieto, Gordy and Laurie Pant, Mark Pant, Sam and Dorothy Pant, Randy Pant, Jeff Pant, Matt and Sarah Pant, Doug and Bryony Pant, Clayton Pant.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents – Lyle Wilks, Marlene Wilks, Jerry Minzey, and Gordon Pant.

Celebration of Life will be held on February 29, 2020. Family only visitation will be from 2:00pm to 3:00 pm. The service will be at 3:00pm followed by a meal and a time of sharing.

The service will be held at Solid Rock Worship Center, 11862 Shaner Avenue NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319.
