Monica Silkowski

Monica H. Silkowski (Glowicki), aged 91 of Caledonia, formerly of Bay City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; parents, Vincent and Clementine Strzeszynski; brother, John Strzeszynski; sister, Loraine Ostash; and great-granddaughter, Lucy. Monica married Henry Silkowski in 1970 and spent 35 years together seeing the world with much happiness before he passed in 2005. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Susan “Kelly” and Bert Sheridan; grandchildren, Michael and Amy Sheridan, Janelle and Carmen Virga; son, Charles and Linda Glowicki; grandchildren, Nadia Ward, Adam and Aimee Stemmler; 12 great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft SE with Fr. Loc Trinh officiating. Interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Bay City. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Caledonia), 616 E. Main St. Sunday from 3-7 pm.
