Mollie was a Christ centered woman who was deeply devoted to her God and made sure that this faith was instilled in her children. She was a loving wife and mother who lived her faith as an example for her family. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Russell; children, Janice and William Dornbos, Rev. Thomas and Norine Katsma, Richard and Karen Katsma; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday 11 am at Beverly Reformed Church, 2141 Porter SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Tom Katsma officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10-11am at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Beverly Reformed Church.

I had the pleasure of working with Mollie at Kentwood Keeler Brass. So was such a great lady. Always had a smile on her. She talked about her family all the time and the love she had for all of you. Really enjoyed the time I spend with her. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of the world..

Mr. Katsma,Bill and Jan,
I too remember Mollie and her sweet smile. I enjoyed talking to Russ when Mollie was at Waterford Rehab earlier this year--the love he had for her was so evident .May God give you an extra measure of His perfect peace as you grieve the earthly loss of Mollie.

My thoughts are with you at this time of separation. I am thankful as you are also that this separation is not forever. We who have Jesus as our Savior have a Blessed Hope. One day we will see Him and be changed into His likeness, and so we will be with Him and our loved ones forever.
In Christ,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many precious, happy memories over about 50 years of time spent with Aunt Mollie and all of you. Loved the lawn chair in the fishing boat! May God comfort and give strength in the days ahead. I am so sorry that I cannot be at the service. God has different plans for me that day. Love to all of you!

To all of you dear Katsma's....Tom and I send our deepest sympathy! There are really no words to express the sadness when we pass on our loved one on to their eternal "home", but yet, that's where we find our comfort as well. It's our hope of heaven because of Jesus opening the Way for us and as Christians, we will all be together again for all eternity. I will always remember, Mollie, because of her gentle way, and gracious smile. I am so very sorry that I cannot come to her service.....of all days, there is no way of changing the commitment that I have. I will be praying for your family and I send my love to all of you. You have all made a very special "dent" in my life....for which I am grateful.
