Mildred “Millie”  Edwards

Mildred “Millie” (Bainbridge) Edwards, age 92, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2014.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Edwards.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Richard Edwards, Gary and Patti Edwards of Lapeer MI, Laurie Wood; grandchildren, Greyson, and Rory Edwards, Megan Wood; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ray Peuler; sister-in-law, Albertha Bainbridge; several nieces and nephews.  Millie enjoyed crafting and spending time at the Senior Center with her friends.  She enjoyed getting together with the coffee gals on a regular basis.  She had a sense of humor and always loved her sweets.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. Lew Vander Meer officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home and on Thursday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.  The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice for all their loving care.
