Mildred Jeanne Conran

Mildred Jeanne Conran, age 97, of Kentwood passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Mildred was an independent and progressive woman. She enjoyed garage sales, art fairs, and shopping with her daughters. She liked to travel and looked back fondly at the New York City trips to Broadway and other theater shows at local venues. She loved her rescue cats, most recently Cher Bear. In her early years, Mildred worked for the WWII war efforts, with the founder of Lear Siegler, JC Penney and Consumers Power. She retired after many years from Consumers Energy. During the years she volunteered for causes close to her. She had a great sense of humor and a big heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Michael and Linda Conran, Douglas Conran, Merry Conran-Cobb and Douglas Cobb, Sharon Conran and Scott Cramer; grandchildren: Christopher (Christi) Conran, Nicholas Conran, Sara Lin Conran, James Cramer; great grandchildren: Aidan, Isaac and Maya. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
