Mike Leppien

Mike Leppien, resident of Greenville, MI went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 46. Mike was born October 20, 1970 in Midland, MI. He graduated from H.H. Dow High School in 1989. Mike served as a rifleman in the United States Marine Corp during Desert Shield. Mike was known for being a captain of sarcasm and an extreme practical joker. He also loved pizza so much that his typical Thanksgiving turkey was always served with a box of pizza next to it. In his free time, Mike enjoyed playing video games. All joking aside, family meant everything to Mike. He will be sadly missed by his Wife: Jen Leppien, their two dogs: Darla & Buster, Mother: Gloria Costley, Father: Robert W. Leppien, Sister: Debbie (Brad) Barr, Sister: Cheryl (Tim) Henry, Sister-in-Law: Tammy (Jeremy) Screws, as well as Nephews: Sam Doman, Tom Barr, Josh Barr, Ryan Barr and James Screws, Nieces: Molly Doman, Heather Henry, Makayla Screws and Aliyah Screws and best friend Chris Church. Mike was predeceased by grandparents on both sides and good friend Melissa McNeil. A Celebration of Life for Mike will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 4:02pm at Greenville Community Church Gymnasium, 6596 Vining Road, Greenville, MI. Dress casual: shorts, t-shirts and sandals are welcome. In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting donations be made to Jen Leppien.
