Michelle Lynn Cazala

Michelle  Lynn Cazala, age 54, of Wayland, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025.  Michelle was born in Flint and graduated from Western Michigan University, where she met her husband, Alex.  She loved the beach, boating, shopping and brownies or any sugary dessert.  Most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family.  

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 27 years, Alex; children: Nicole, Anthony, and Nathan; father, Dave (Sue) Gale; siblings: Brenda (Tony) Amato, Michael (Leah) Gale, Melody (Mike) Zeek; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Gale.  

A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Cornerstone Church, 1675 84th Street SE, Caledonia, with Pastor Ken Nash officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America or American Heart Association.
