Michael Douglas Papp

On February 24,2021 God gained a beloved soul. Michael Douglas Papp died at home at the age of 45. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, a true westsider all his life. He was a lover of movies, and all genres of music. The louder it bumped the better. A creative and brilliant artist. Quick with a smile and known for his great bear hugs. An incredible Son,Father,Brother,Uncle,Grandfather, and Friend. Hard working and loyal. He spent the last 8 years working for Page Woodworking,they say his presence is already greatly missed. The kind of person that met strangers on the street and took them out for a meal because they were in need. He will be remembered for his infinite kindness, giving spirit,and loving heart. He is survived by his parents Duane & Jean Smith, his beloved daughter and beautiful grandaughters Brooklyn,Oakleigh, and Ocean Young, his sister and nephews Angela & Tyler Williams,and James Hudson. Many aunts,uncles,cousins,and extended friends and family. Including but not limited to the Forever Ink Family and The Grand Rapids Bass Heads. He will Forever be Loved! And Forever be Missed!
