Michael Brian Massop- Aka Big Mike, was 53 and from Grand Rapids.  Mike suffered a heart attack and went to be with His Lord and Savior on Monday May 5, 2025.  He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of eight years, Sandy and his adopted son Avien!  His children Lindsey, Michael, Josh, Cassie, Parker, and Logan; his grandchildren, and his siblings,Charles, John, Jason, and Steven and his Dad Richard, and his many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mom Brenda and his mother in law Deb he always missed them both very much…

Mike was a loyal and dedicated man… his enjoyments in life were all about music, animals, Tatooes and had a strong work ethic..  He was a fierce warrior that liked nothing better than to hang out at home with his dogs and it was his joy to raise and take of his family.   He was a simple man that didn’t ask much of anyone and it was an honor to know and love him…He was quiet but everyone thought he was cool that knew him and he was passionate about spending time with his loved ones and friends and talking about God, politics and everything else…

There will be a celebration of his life, Saturday May 17 at 1130 AM.  Friends of Mike and Sandy may meet at Ten 25 Church in Grand Rapids on that day.  Those who wish to my make Memorial Contributions to Ten 25 Church The benevolence fund.
