Michael B. Seger, age 74, of Grand Rapids,  went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Darlene; children: Laura Seger, Michael Seger, Nancy (Alison) Seger-Zawacki, James (Jennifer) Seger; step-children: Jennifer Baker, Matt (Kellie) Perez; grandchildren: Mitchell and Jacob Seger, Brody and Braylon Baker, Izzy and Kinsey Kalbfleisch, Alexis, Max and Riley Perez; siblings: John (Shirley) Seger, Paul (Barb) Seger, James Seger, Mary Anne (Jim) Lannon, Joe (Joan) Seger, Therese (Bob) Speck, Joan (Bob) Pawlak; brothers-in-laws: Gerald (Nicki) Alvesteffer, Duane (Barb) Alvesteffer, Dan (Cathy) Alvesteffer, Greg (Barb) Alvesteffer; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Mary Ann Seger.  Mike loved hunting, fishing and golfing.  He also loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.  He retired from Chrysler and then later retired from GM.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming.  The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-11 a.m. at the church.
