MEDAWIS - Merri L. Medawis, age 56, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Medawis Jr.; brothers, baby boy Medawis, Johnathan Medawis, Matthew Medawis. Merri is survived by her mother, Anna "Louise" Medawis; children, Robert (Kelsie) Memberto, Arianne (Marc) Gray, Georgianna (Victor) Walkington; grandchildren, Jayna, Aurora, Tristin, Leanna, Finlee, Aliena, Eliaylia "Lila", Joslyn, Douglas, Alexandria; brothers, Henry (Carolyn) Medawis III, Steve Medawis; sisters, Sherri Medawis, Toni Medawis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Merri worked for the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Luella Collins Community Center, 419 126th Avenue, Wayland. Her family will greet relatives and friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service at Luella Collins Community Center.
