Merilyn E.  Czarnecki

Czarnecki, Merilyn E. Merilyn E. Czarnecki, aged 81, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Gordon, in 2012, whom she missed very much. She is survived by her son, Ron and Cindi; daughter, Laurie; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jason and Tara (Dominique, Gavin, Clinton, and Kenzie), Becki and Justin Denick (Sarah and Rylee Jo), Ryan and fiancé, Lynda Horsely; sisters, Mollie and Russ Katsma, Marcia Green; and sister-in-law, Wanetta Czarnecki. A Memorial Service for Merilyn will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Spectrum Health Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff of Crystal Springs Lighthouse and Louise from Spectrum Hospice for all the care of their mom and grandma.
