Melinda Kay Thrash

Melinda Kay Thrash, age 72, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2023. Mindy loved animals, traveling, cross stitching, and bonfires. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval Lee and Bonnie June Thrash; also her older brother, James Lee Thrash. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Brian Goebel and grandsons, Jacob and Ben; brothers, Dennis (Sue) Thrash, Kevin Thrash; sister-in-law, Marsha Thrash; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a local animal shelter of their choice in Mindy’s honor.
