Maxine Meyer

Maxine Marie Meyer (Wurm), age 90, of Wyoming, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 after a brief illness. Maxine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She treasured family gatherings and having her grandchildren and great grandchildren at her home. Maxine is survived by her son, John and Pat Meyer; daughter, Lori and Gary Olcheske; grandchildren, Beth (Dave) Kraff, Russ Olcheske (fiance, Billie Jo), Sara Buist, Megan Meyer; great grandchildren, Danny, Arianna, and Marcus; sisters, Kathleen and Louis Freybler, Donna and Robert Kurti; sister-in-law, Alice Fodor; brother-in-law, Ronald Woodburn; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack; parents, Eugene and Minnietta Wurm; brothers, Donald and Tom Wurm; sister, Linda Sredersas; parents-in-law, John and Marion Meyer; brothers-in-law, Richard and Jan Meyer, Gabriel Fodor; sisters-in-law, Catherine and William Fodor, Margaret Woodburn, Mary Lou and Don Pett.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 17, 2020 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 50 Bellevue SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Jose Quintana presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 3 to 6 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rosary at 5:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Dominic Catholic Church.
