Maxine Kay Vandenbos, age 82, of Grandville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jill and Bo Oosterman, Karrie and Dan Bussa, Craig and Jayne Vandenbos, Lisa and Rick Heyboer; grandchildren, Amy Oosterman, Eric and Erika Oosterman, Matt and Melissa Bussa, Jayson and Ali Bussa, Megan and Jason Howard, Michelle and Andrew Kersjes, Sarah, Sydney and Stacie Vandenbos, Ashley and Jacob Heyboer; 14 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marlyn Woudenberg, Marcia Kunst; brother-in-law, Clyde Morren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at South Grandville Christian Reformed Church, 4130 Wilson Avenue SW, with Dr. Daniel Mouw officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, August 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.
