Maurice Anderson

Maurice Robert Anderson, aged 104 and a half, of Wyoming, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 19, 2019.  Maurice was born on April 8, 1915 in McBain, MI.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a recipient of a purple heart.  He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the DAV and also a life member of the Wyoming Senior Center.  Maurice retired from General Motors in 1976.  He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Audrey; daughters: Sandra Snell and boyfriend, Sam Cambell, Delene and Victor Reister; grandchildren: Chad (Sara) Snell, Jessica (Matthew) Kroon, Rachel Reister, Kevin Reister; great grandchildren: Kiarah, Emilee, Keegan, Alayna, Caleb.  Funeral services for Maurice will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Jon Stradtner officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodview Christian Church.
