​Matilde Partida, age 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a long battle with different sicknesses on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Doña Mati was a stubborn, feisty, and loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and was always taking care of others. She was preceded in death by her eight siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Maria and Juan Gonzalez, Malena and Juan Carrazco; grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan and Desiree, Jordan, AC and Arrenda, Bella, Pollo; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26 at 4 pm at Grand Rapids First 2100 44th Street Wyoming, with Rev. Jonathan Espinoza officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, February 26 from 2-4 pm prior to the service at church.
