Mary Wager

​Mary Wager, age 91, of Grand Rapids, was called home to be with Jesus to tend His garden in heaven on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Mary was a loving mother with a determined spirit who deeply cared for her family. She had a love for the outdoors and working in her yard taking meticulous care of her gardens. Mary was proud of her accomplishment of studying and receiving her Associates degree from Grand Rapids Community College later in life after raising her family. She was a secretary at Millbrook Christian School for many years establishing many friendships during her time there. She also worked for the U.S. Postal service, retiring after many years of dedicated service. Mary was a longtime member of Millbrook Christian Reformed Church where she served her Lord with her time and talents. She was preceded in death by her husband D. Charles Wager in 1955. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandra Wager and her son, Steven Wager. At Mary’s request, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place next to her husband at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
