Mary Rau

RAU- Mrs. Mary Jane Rau (Ypma, O'Toole) age 90 passed away on July 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William O'Toole, Sid Rich, Fred Rau; son, Michael O'Toole; brothers, Robert Ypma, Jack Ypma; sister, Hazel Meaney. She is survived by her children, Bette (Hank) Boersema, Kathy (Bob) Stover, Patrick (Deb) O'Toole, daughter in law Ann O'Toole; grandchildren, Missy, Katie, Sandy, Mike, Jennifer, David, Ryan, Greg, Dan, Tom, Alicia, Megan and five foster grand children from Sudan; 26 great grandchildren; sister, Sandy (Bob) Enders. Mary graduated from Creston High School. She was active with both the AMVETS and American Legion Auxiliary. Her favorite pastime was bingo. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday July 25, 2017 at South United Methodist Church, 4500 S. Division Ave, Wyoming. Her family will greet relatives and friends Monday 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming and one hour prior to the service at church.
