Mary Patricia “Pat” Veenendall

Mary Patricia “Pat” Veenendall, age 81, of Jenison, completed her earthly journey and joined her heavenly father on Monday, June 22, 2020.   She was greeted by her loving husband of 50 years, Carl Veenendall; her infant daughter; parents, Clarence and Mary DeYoung; her sisters, Karen DeGlopper and Sandra Meade. Pat was a kind and gentle woman with a great sense of humor whose pride and joy was her family. She will be greatly missed by her children; Dawn (Steve) Cole, Lori (Mark) Nylaan, Karla Miller, Ken (Amy) Veenendall, Tricia (Jeff) Bender; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many dear friends; cousins; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 3 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Larry Bush officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.  Due to the COVID-19, please wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines.  The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
