Mary Margaret McKenzie

Mary Margaret McKenzie, age 67 of Wyoming, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, June and Bernell Sullivan.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Jim; children, JJ and Amy McKenzie, Joe and Nisha McKenzie, Carrie McKenzie, and Justin and Jenna McKenzie; grandchildren, Drew, Paige, Morgan, Avery, Levi, Clara, Malia, Camden and Alexis; six siblings; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was a loving, caring, tender hearted, wife, mother and grandmother. She believed in staying physically fit and being active. Tennis was her sport of choice. Her greatest joy in life was being a gracious hostess and having family gathered at the house or at the cottage. She always enjoyed providing a clean house, a well stocked refrigerator, and a full table for her family and friends. She was a devout Catholic and made sure that her family was brought up in the faith. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming,  with Fr. John Vallier officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming.
