Mary M. Carlson

Mary M. Carlson, aged 88 of Wyoming, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard; sons, Charles and Scott; and brothers, Dino and Clement Framarin. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Nolita) Carlson, Richard (Wendy) Carlson, Dale (Mary Ellen) Carlson; grandchildren, Geoffrey Carlson, Angela (Scott) Burkett, Christopher Carlson, Anthony (Kaitlin) Carlson, Sarah Carlson, Elizabeth Carlson; and one great-granddaughter, Ashlynn Carlson. Mary was a quiet, reflective, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was devoted to God and family having raised five boys following the death of her husband in 1974. She will be fondly remembered for her love of reading and dedication to supporting her church and family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive, Grandville on Thursday from 6-8 pm and also on Friday at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
