Overmire, Mary Lou OVERMIRE - Mary Lou Overmire, aged 70 of Caledonia, wonderful and loving mother, wife, and grandmother passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Friday April 12, 2013 surrounded by her family. Mary Lou was a lifetime member of Alpha Iota Sorority in their charitable works . She enjoyed adventurous travels with family and friends. She also had passion for gardening. She was dedicated to her family and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Luhrs. She is survived by her husband, John; children, Boyd Overmire, Michelle Overmire and fiancé John Kalaska, Kristine Wazed and Sajeeb Wazed; grandchildren, Rachael, Nathan, Carly Overmire, Sophia Wazed; mother, Lucille Luhrs; mother-in- law, Ruth Overmire; brothers and sisters, Charles "Chum" Luhrs, Carolyn and Dale Goddard, Paul and Pat Luhrs; special sister, Susie Luhrs; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jan and Den Wasco, Nancy and Jim Miller, Mary and Dan Richards, Donna Overmire, Francine and Doug Boone, Ruthie and Ray Sumon; and many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, 11:00 am, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft SE with Fr. Mark Bauer celebrant. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Caledonia), 616 E. Main St, Monday 4-8 pm.
