Family owned and operated for over 85 years.
Mary Lou Momber, 83, of Conklin, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Mary Lou was a kind and loving woman with an independent spirit whose heart was deeply rooted in her family. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, finding joy in every moment spent with them. A devoted Catholic, she lived her faith through years of active service in her church community. Mary Lou raised her children and worked faithfully with her husband Jerry as a dedicated farm wife for many years before she spent more than 20 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, retiring as a trusted and hardworking customer service representative. She was blessed with a strong work ethic that shaped every chapter of her life. Creative at heart, she loved to knit, crochet, and craft, sharing her handmade gifts and talents with those she loved. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, and many happy memories were made around the table.
Early in their marriage, Mary Lou enjoyed square dancing with her late husband, Jerry. Together, they shared countless evenings filled with music, laughter, and friendship. Most importantly, she leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength that will be forever treasured by those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Jerry; sister, Susan Fochtman; brothers-in-law, Joseph Gavin, John Schuurman and Sam Guthrie. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Susan and Erik Decker, John Momber (Kelly Brewster), Mary Ann Wright and Donnie Wright, Teresa Momber and Daryl Scheidel; grandchildren, Matt and Amanda Baker, Paul Galloway, Katie Momber (Kyle), Kelly and Cole Hoyer, Danielle Ogg, Jake Wright; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Cruz, Cash, Lillian, Madelyn, Gwendolyn, Boniface, Ignatius; her siblings, Jean Gavin, Donna Schuurman-Guthrie, Ed and Dorothy Alt, Jim and Cindy Monroe, Paul and Debra Minott, Tom and Lesa Fochtman, Jim Fochtman (Richelle); several loving nieces and nephews.
