Mary Jane Ritsema (Proctor), age 76, went home to heaven on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was born May 6, 1939. She is survived by her husband, Marvin; her children, Dave (Schel) Heydenburg, Linda (Bill) Rosecrans, Laurie (David) Cotto, Carolyn (Mitch) Havens, Mark Lamse; her step children, Cheryl (Ken) Dykhouse, Kathi (Todd) Hammond, Mary (Matt) van Buren; 23 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Douglas) Heydenburg, Cathy (Joe) Gillard, Carole (Robert) Reese; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Marlene Overmeyer; and her little dog named Budde. Funeral services will be held on Thursday 2:00 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
