Mary Jane Cobb

Mary Jane Cobb, age 88, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly and was called to her heavenly home on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2012 and is reunited with him on what would have been their 68th wedding anniversary. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael and Juleen, Steven and Michele, Christopher and Kimberly; grandchildren, Lynsey, Benjamin, Kaitlyn (Steven), Cassandra, Eric, Alex, Anna, Nicholas (Allison), Evan and great grandchildren, Carsten, Linley. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Ellen Golec, Carole Crumback, Judy Cobb, and Barb Cobb; many nieces and nephews. Mary Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her favorite pastimes were cooking, baking, traveling, boating and attending the symphony. She was her family’s historian and enjoyed honoring her family history. She retired as a medical transcriptionist. Her family is thankful to God for the blessings of her life. She will be greatly missed for her giving heart and willingness to help anyone in need. A memorial gathering for Mary Jane will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 1-3:00 pm at Cornerstone Church, 1675 84th St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society of West Michigan.
