Mary Hauser-Baranowski

Mary E. Hauser-Baranowski age 86, of Walker, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. Mary is survived by her sons, Michael J. Hauser and Joseph R.(Leah) Hauser; daughter, Laura A. (Mark) Malone; her grandchildren, Geoffrey, Matthew and Lindsay; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Ella. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Lambert and sister in law, Linda Harpold. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard and John; her husbands, John M. Hauser and Walter Baranowski. Mary was a wonderful wife and mother. Most of her working life was spent as a unit secretary at Kent Community Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was a strong believer in giving back to the community and volunteered at the Grand Rapids Public Library's Yankee Clipper Branch, St. Alphonsus Church and Meals on Wheels. At her request cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 224 Carrier St. NE, Grand Rapids.
