Mary Engstrom

ENGSTROM - Mrs. Mary Jane Engstrom (MJ), aged 79 of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Lyle and Florence Salisbury, birth mother, Jennie Reno, brothers, Danny and Joseph Reno. Surviving are her husband, John Engstrom; children, Mary (Robert) Hoogerhyde, Linda (Urban Munguia) Wycoff; grandchildren, Matthew (Tammy Thompson) Skinner, Myriah Swarthout, Troy Heintzelman, Christopher Heintzelman, Raphael Heintzelman, Angelica (Starsky) White, Bobby (Jessica) Hoogerhyde Jr., Rachael (Jacque Robinson) Hoogerhyde; great grandchildren, Destany, Desiree, Kaleb, Kayla, Kylee, Madilynn, Melanie, Leticia, Christian, Cali, Preston, Colten, Tynslee, Jensen, Noah, Jayden, Marissa; brothers, Richard Salisbury, Robert (Mary Ann) Cook; sisters, Judy Reno, Virginia Reno; several nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of the Altar Society at St. Dominic's where she was a long time member. She also was a member of Our Lady of the Roses Shrine, These Last Days Ministries, and C.U.F.F. Mary's hobbies were her gardening, flowers and making crosses. She will be remembered for her love of her family and the joy her family brought to her. She also enjoyed working part time with her Gordon Food Service family for the past eleven years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 50 Bellevue St. SW with Rev. Charles R. Dautremont as celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at church.
