Mary Dupuie

January 23, 1960 ~
January 2, 2022

Mary Ellen Dupuie, age 61, of Wyoming, went to be with her beloved parents, Wayne and Margaret; and Uncle Joe on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Mary had an unmatched level of love and care for people she was close with and animals of all kinds. She dedicated her life to helping people and animals in need and was a guiding light for people in a world that can be so dark. She will be greatly missed by people and animals, both wild and tame, that she helped during her life. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Andrea Millspaugh; sons and their spouses, Thomas and Amanda Dupuie, and Jamie and Sara Dupuie; grandchildren, Dominique Andrie and Caiden Millspaugh, nieces, nephews, and friends. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to LuvnPupz of Grand Rapids in her honor.

You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she’s gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what she’d want, smile, open your eyes, love and go on. We will always remember our sister Mary as the “Butterfly Charmer” who could stop time. Love and miss you… Cathy & Chris Andrie

Mary I am great full to able to call you friend but most importantly family. We never had a conversation where you did not express in some way the love and pride you had for your family. The kindness and love you showed already lives on through them. We will miss having you over it was always wonderful to see you. We will see you again until then Rest In Peace and know that you are loved and will be missed ❤️

Where do I start? Hearing about your passing is a punch to the gut. I'm so grateful I got to see you once more at Heather's memorial. You mean so much to me. You were a mother figure in my teenage years when my home life wasn't so great. You coached me through labor with my 1st child when I was just 17 and scared to death, then loved her like your own. I'm so sorry we drifted apart. You gave so much love yet never minced words and weren't afraid to tell someone when they were wrong. You stood up for me against my own parents because you couldn't stand to see anyone abused. You had an infectious laugh that I can still hear. I love you. Fly high. Until we meet again.

The greatest mother a son could ever have. You are sorely missed and greatly loved. I am beyond thankful for the love and care you gave me and so many others during your time here on this earth. You meant so much to so many people. We will forever miss you. Love, your son, Tom.
