Mary Louise Dunn, age 81, of Hudsonville, became fully healed on Saturday, September 12, 2026, and is in the presence of Jesus. Mary was born and raised in Grand Rapids and attended Central High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, Jerry. 

She served the Lord in many capacities throughout her life in various youth and senior adult ministries. She always tried to share Jesus with others and kept busy for the Lord until she passed. She worked and retired after many years from Forest Hills Public Schools. 

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Jerry; sons, Jerry (Amy) Dunn III, Jeffrey (Susan) Dunn; five grandchildren: Trenton (Jackie) Dunn, Tanner Dunn, Tessa (Zach) Stanton, Kyler (Tiera) Dunn, Cory (Maddie) Dunn; four great-grandchildren: Walker, Sage, Miles, Kit; sister-in-law, Joni Dunn; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Delight Johnson; three angel great-grandbabies; and her brother, Bill Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Chapel Pointe (please use door C), 3350 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, 49426, with Pastor Bob Bloom officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville. A visitation will also be held Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Chapel Pointe or the American Diabetes Association.
