DENTON - Maryellen Denton, aged 70, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Mary Benjamin; sister-in-law, Helen Benjamin. Maryellen is survived by her children, Joseph (Amy) Roberson, Michael Roberson, Leslie (Todd) Hamilton; grandchildren, Benjamin, Isabelle, Tiffany, and Mika Roberson, Cole and Hannah Hamilton; brother, Michael Benjamin; sisters, Katy (Steve) Conkle and Marguerite Benjamin; eleven nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will take place 11:00 AM Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Alphonsus Church, 224 Carrier Street NE, Grand Rapids. Maryellen's family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to mass at the church on Friday. Maryellen was an active member of the Middleville Village Players and Zonta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
