Mary Cutrara

CUTRARA - Mrs. Mary Cutrara (nee Stellini) aged 98 of Kentwood passed away, Friday, January 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; parents, Robert and Concetta Stellini; brothers, Vincent (Nancy, her best friend and sister in-iaw), Phillip (Irma), Anthony and Sam (Virginia); brother-in-law, Joe Pavlak and Michael Hanrahan; daughter-in-law, Sharon Cutrara; son-in-law, Donald J. DeVogel; special friend, Gene Bonzheim. Surviving are her children, August M. Cutrara, Mary A. "Maris" DeVogel, Phillip R. (Barbara) Cutrara, Michael (Cheryl) Cutrara; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Pavlak, Augustine Hanrahan, Concetta (Charles) Lund; several nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of the Altar Society at St. Dominic's. Mary loved camping in the summer time and fun times with her big Italian family. Her favorite thing to do was cooking for her family; in fact, her favorite saying was "there is more in the pan". She will be greatly missed and we loved her so much. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 22 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 50 Bellevue SW., with Rev. Charles Dautremont as celebrant. Her family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., with prayers of the Rosary at 7:30 PM, and one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
