Mary Brower

Mary Eloise Brower, age 89, of Jenison, went to her heavenly home on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was preceded in death and welcomed home by her husband of 57 years, Paul J. Brower; daughter, Lynne M. Meyer; her two cherished sisters, Trudy M. Dahl and Ellamae K. Dahl; and her parents, Francis and Mirabel Dahl. Mary grew up in the town of Montague, Michigan. She attended Alma College and Taylor University from where she graduated with honors. Mary brought her passion of teaching English and Theater to Hudsonville High School where she thoroughly enjoyed her career with the many students she taught. She was a member of Calvary Church in Grand Rapids, and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mary treasured her faith and demonstrated a faithfulness to her Lord and Savior over her lifetime. She spent countless hours in Bible reading and prayer for her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Lance P., and daughter-in-law, Ruth (Laven) Brower; son-in-law, D. Scott Meyer; grandchildren, Brennan, Jenna, and Aubrye Brower, Christine Meyer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arlyn and Charlene Brower. Family graveside services will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery.
