Mary Ann Ensing

Mary Ann Ensing, age 85, of Zeeland, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Mary Ann enjoyed hosting family and friends at various parties at her home, especially euchre tournaments and hobo pie parties. She loved to greet everyone at church and get to know them. She also enjoyed traveling with family. Her faith was very important to her and her Bible was well worn with her daily morning devotions. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Roger; children: Rick and Phyllis Ensing, Pam Hassevoort and (Robert McFarlane), Randy and Joy Ensing, Steve and Lori Ensing; grandchildren: Matt Ensing, Josh Ensing, Gabe and Jessica Ensing, Spencer Hassevoort, Cody and Sarah Ensing, Jared and Jenelle Ensing, Madison Ensing, Trenton Ensing; great grandchildren: Dylan, Lauren, Levi, McKaila, Isaac; sisters and brothers, Robert and Marge Molengraff, Judy Hart, Bev and Steve Gebben; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Judith Molengraff, Ron and Marcia Ensing, Ruth and Tony Sack; many nieces,nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Cornelia Molengraff, Fred and Francis Ensing; brother, Leon Molengraff; granddaughter, Jessica Ensing. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Lighthouse Community Church, 7624 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, with Rev. Steve Demars officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, and also Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. The burial will be held at Allendale Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to International Needs Network or Lighthouse Community Church. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff of Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation for all their loving care of Mary Ann and her family.
