Marvin J. Horjus, age 89, of Wyoming, went home to be with his gracious, heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Nellie Horjus and his brother, Don Horjus. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Horjus; children, Deb and Tom Wier, Linda and Mike Otis, Mark Horjus and fiancée, Angie Poll, Beth and Rick Huls; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.  Marvin proudly served our country as a member of the United States Navy during WWII.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11 AM at Beverly Reformed Church, 2141 Porter SW, Wyoming.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries.
