We send our deepest sympathies to Lynn and all of your family. We have very fond memories of our time together at Calvin College. Although we lost our connection over the years, the memories would arise often. May God be with you as you mourn Marty’s loss.

Dear Lynn and children, Peter and I send our sympathy in the death of your dear husband and father this past week. We grieve for you and rejoice with Martin that he is now home with our heavenly Father. May God's many promises comfort you. "I Am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." In Christian Love, Peter and Dorothy Van Der Schaaf

I’m sorry to hear about your loss. To the best of my knowledge he is the first of the Meyer cousins we’ve lost. Although our times together have were far too few I’ve enjoyed each one. I’ll be praying for your family in these difficult times but praising and thanking God for his gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Marty was so special. I knew him briefly at Unity but really got to know him the last ~4 years, and I will miss his little sayings, and especially the LOOKS he would give me, he could say so much without saying a word and make me laugh with just a look. He was humble and kind and brought a lot of smiles to my face. Rest in peace, Marty, and know how loved and missed you are!
