Martha Ann Willison, age 86, of Belmont passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025. Marty was a lifelong parishioner at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Catholic Church. She loved to engage in many social clubs such as the Consolata Guild and the Rockford Garden Club. Martha also loved to give her time to others and often volunteered at the Frederik Meijer Gardens. She will be dearly missed by all the family and friends whose lives she has deeply touched over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Willison. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Dale Willison and Greg Willison; grandchildren, Jonathan Willison-Westbrook, and Elizabeth Willison-Westbrook. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11 am at MKD Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, with Deacon Paul Antor officiating. A private burial will take place at Blythefield Cemetery. Relatives and friends may also meet the family on Friday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Kent County Humane Society.
