Marlene Sherrod

Marlene Joyce Sherrod, aged 84 of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Francis. She is survived by her daughters, Debra and Bill Weidenfeller, Denise and Jeff Norman, son, Frank and Sue Sherrod, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sister Dagmar Bennett, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marlene was a warm, loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially attending the kids and grandkids sporting events. She seldom missed an opportunity to watch a ball game or attend tournaments. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming from 6 - 8 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, with a vigil to be held at 6:15 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice.
