Mark Martin, age 43, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, George Martin in 2008; and stepfather, Richard Palmer. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Marcella Palmer; sister, Mary and Victor Martin-Mejia; uncles and aunts, James and Edith Miller, Marlene and John Jackson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, at 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW., with Rev. John Jackson officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, January 19, from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
