Mark Haner

HANER - Mark S. Haner was born to Daniel and Esther Luana Haner on August 24, 1940 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Jr., and his wife of 34 years, Carol L. Haner. Three brothers Paul, David and Charles; and sisters, Esther Warsen and Sharon (Infant). He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 12 years, Crystal Haner. Children, Matthew (Joanne), Michael (Jodi), Jonathan (Teresa), and stepdaughter, Yvette "Nikki" Allen; grandchildren, Mike Jr., Josh, Jonathan, Benjamin and Grace Haner, Cedric Figures and Brian David Allen; brother, Sam Haner; sisters, Rachel (George) Harwood, Naomi (Don) Nordmark, and host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mark has been a part of the family of God at Apostolic Faith Church for many years. A brother to many, he would often lend his skilled hands to help others weather leading us in Praise or adding a room to a house he made sure that he was "One less stone". A celebration of Mark's life will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Apostolic Faith Church, 1935 - 44th St. SE. His family will greet relatives and friends Thursday from 5 to 8PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Church.
